Overview

Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary field which draws from areas such as anthropology, neuroscience, computer science, linguistics, psychology, and philosophy, with the goal of understanding the mind as an intelligent, information-processing system. Undergraduate students can pursue the Cognitive Science Minor, which offers a broad foundation for exploring this interdisciplinary approach to questions of the mind. Courses for the program are drawn from departments across UK. The required course for the minor, PHI 375, is typically taught twice a year, in both the fall and spring semesters.
